Flee from me, keepers of the gloom

Bern has apologized to Biden for Zephyr Teachout’s scabrous op-ed, sending extremely online Berners into the despair of “betrayal.”

Berners are crying out “let Berners be Bros!”

It was a crude political hit. Bern got away with it in 2016, but not in 2020. People are on to his tactics, farmed out to surrogates.

The damage to Bern’s campaign has been done. His surrogates are like the Houston Astros of politics.

Teachout basically functioned as Bern’s Giuliani, making the similarity between Bern and Trump too obvious. The Vermont revolutionary had to apologize.

It’s not easy to get a rigid 78 y/o ideologue to apologize for a political hit. The blowback against his campaign must have been immense.

Berners like Brie, Shure, Day, and Bragman will eventually blame Neera Tanden for either making Teachout write her op-ed or for forcing Bern to apologize.

One of his staff should lose their job over this, but they won’t. Which makes his apology appear disingenuous.

Is that all there is?

Sarah Sanders (Ouachita Baptist University Class of 2004) says “I don’t think Congress — particularly not this group of congressmen and women — are smart enough to look through the thousands of pages that I would assume that President Trump’s taxes will be.”

It’s nice that Bernie Sanders took time out from bashing a woman (Neera Tanden) to brag about himself (book sales).

Sanders is playing the victim card, just as his incelish Berniebros do. His narcissism is trending towards the authoritarianism of his Berniebros.

Glenn Greenwald has lost his best bros to defection (Snowden) and incarceration (Assange).
